How it works

Mice don't come in because your house is dirty. They come in because it's getting cold, and once they're in, one becomes many. Lurelle deterrent balls make the spots they'd use to get in smell like somewhere they'd rather not be.

Three steps

1. Find the entry points

Look for droppings, gnaw marks and gaps: around pipes under the sink, behind appliances, along garage door edges, in pantry corners, in sheds and in the engine bay or trunk of a car that sits for a while.

2. Place one ball per spot

Take a ball out of its wrapper and set it right at the spot. Corners, cabinet floors, under sinks, beside the garage door track, by the water heater. Keep them where children and pets can't reach.

3. Swap when the scent fades

Each ball keeps its lemon-peppermint scent for about one to two months, depending on airflow and temperature. When you can't smell it up close anymore, replace it.

How many do you need?

One room, car or small shed 2โ€“3 balls
Kitchen + garage 5โ€“7 balls
Whole home + garage One 12-pack
Home + garage + shed + car (the Inside + Outside Kit) Two 12-packs

Most people place one box around the outside entry points (garage, doors, shed) and a second inside (kitchen, pantry, under sinks, basement). That's why the 2-pack is our most popular option.

What they are

Solid, round, mint-green tablets infused with peppermint and lemon oil. No traps to set, no poison baits, nothing plugged in, nothing to clean up. They're a deterrent, not a pesticide: they work best as prevention and alongside sealing gaps. If you already have a heavy, active infestation, call a pest-control professional first.
